I based today’s patch on Andy Farnell‘s Fan example from his excellent book “Designing Sound“. I apply some of the stuff ive been messing with over hte last couple days to see where his approach can take me. I started out with making it a bit more loose. The sound of the fan is really nice but I wanted it to be a bit more gritty, a bit as if the engine wasnt so good anymore, so i just messed aroudn with the parameters a bit. Then I got bored with taht and went a bit nutty with the delays, adding a comb filter.
